According to the "Chinese Chemical Society-BASF Youth Knowledge Innovation Award Regulations", the Chinese Chemical Society will launch the 12th Chinese Chemical Society-BASF Youth Knowledge Innovation Award in August 2023. After review by the Chinese Chemical Society-BASF Youth Knowledge Innovation Award Review Committee and deliberation by the Chinese Chemical Society Award Working Committee, it was decided to award four young chemists including Zeng Jie the "12th Chinese Chemical Society-BASF Youth Knowledge Innovation Award."

The Chinese Chemical Society-BASF Youth Knowledge Innovation Award is an academic award jointly established by the Chinese Chemical Society and BASF New Materials Co., Ltd. in 2001. It aims to reward outstanding young scientists under the age of 45 who are engaged in petrochemical industry, polymer materials, fine chemicals, natural products and organic synthesis, surface and colloidal chemistry, and bioengineering (crop protection agents, feed additives). Awards are given every two years, and no more than 4 people will be awarded in each session. As of 2023, a total of 48 winners have been awarded.

Among them, Professor Huang Hui was successfully selected as the 12th Youth Knowledge Laureate.
