On June 15, 2024, the 34th Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Chemical Society was grandly opened at the Baiyun International Convention Center in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Academician Wan Lijun, Chairman of the Chinese Chemical Society and Chairman of the Annual Conference, Professor Ehud Keinan, President of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), and more than 90 academicians from the two academies attended the conference.

Professor Huang Hui won the Chinese Chemical Society-BASF Youth Knowledge Innovation Chemistry Award

Professor Huang Hui won the "Top Ten Most Downloaded Article of 2023" of the Chinese Chemical Society

Postdoctoral fellow Xie Wenbin and doctoral student Gu Xiaobin won the Excellent Poster Award of the Chinese Chemical Society.
