On November 16-17, 2023, the 3rd "Tang Aoqing" Doctoral Academic Forum and the Chemistry Sub-forum of the 16th Jilin University Doctoral International Academic Forum were held at Jilin University. The forum invited Academician Zhou Qilin of Nankai University to give a conference report, and invited more than ten well-known foreign academicians and experts who have established in-depth cooperative relations with Jilin University to give keynote reports, from the University of Bristol, Peking University, Tsinghua University, University of Science and Technology of China, etc. Outstanding doctoral students from first-class universities exchange academic ideas and share scientific research results in the form of oral reports and poster presentations.

With the theme of "Exchange and Cooperation Empowering the Cultivation of High-Level Talents in Chemistry", this forum has six thematic sub-venues: materials chemistry, energy chemistry, synthesis and catalysis, chemometrics and chemical biology, CCS Chemistry and future scientific cross-research. 

Award ceremony

Among them, Gu Xiaobin, a student from our group, was invited by the CCS Chemistry editorial board to participate in CCS Chemistry’s first doctoral student forum. At the forum, Gu Xiaobin gave a speech titled “Conformational Regulation of Oligomerized Electron Acceptors: Toward Efficiency, Stability and The oral report "Low Energy Loss Organic Solar Cells" won unanimous praise from the teachers and classmates present, and was awarded the "Excellent Oral Report" of the forum.
