Since its launch, the 2020 "UCAS Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has attracted nearly 200 projects from UCAS, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the society. The competition is divided into creative group, start-up group and growth group. Specifically, five sub-competitions will be set up, focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and innovation in industrial fields such as "new generation information technology", "new materials", "intelligent manufacturing and high-end equipment", "biomedicine and medical care", "new energy and energy conservation and environmental protection". breakthrough.

On the morning of October 25, the 2020 "National Science University Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Finals and Awards Ceremony was held at the Yanqi Lake Campus of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The "All-Organic Flexible Infrared Sensor" team led by Professor Huang Hui and Dr. Zhong Cheng won the first prize in the creative group competition and the second prize in the final.
