According to the spirit of the "Notice of the Personnel and Talent Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Preparatory) on the Preliminary Selection of Excellent Doctoral Dissertations of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2024" (Kefa Renhanzi [2024] No. 11) and the "Detailed Rules for the Preliminary Selection and Evaluation of Excellent Doctoral Dissertations of the Chinese Academy of Sciences University" and "Detailed Rules for the Preliminary Selection and Evaluation of Excellent Doctoral Dissertations of the Chinese Academy of Sciences University of Science and Technology of China", the official websites of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the University of Science and Technology of China show that after the correspondence review of peer experts inside and outside the two schools, the review of the subject expert group meeting, and the final review of the university degree evaluation committee, the preliminary list of excellent doctoral dissertations of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2024 has been produced. A total of 77 doctors from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and 23 doctors from the University of Science and Technology of China were selected!

Dr. Wei Yanan's graduation thesis from the School of Materials Science and Optoelectronic Technology, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was named one of the 100 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2024.
