From October 8th to October 12th, 2019, Mr. Huang Hui, Mr. Shi Qinqin and members of the research group Lv Lei, Wen Kaikai, Yang Haojie and Wenxuan participated in the one-week polymer annual meeting. Mr. Huang Hui made a Wonderful report, on-site teachers and classmates had a heated discussion, and made plans for the research direction of the research group!
Conference Introduction: The National Polymer Academic Paper Series Report started in 1954. The biennial national report conference has become the most important academic conference in the domestic polymer science community and a grand event in the Chinese polymer community. The 2019 National Polymer Academic Papers Report was held in Xi'an from October 15 to 19, 2019, hosted by the Polymer Discipline Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and undertaken by Northwestern Polytechnical University. This conference will focus on the important role of polymer science and technology in the national economy and society in the new era, and will focus on displaying the research achievements and development trends in the field of polymer science and materials in my country in recent years. , education, industry workers and young students to provide a broad academic and technical exchange platform to promote the sustainable development and innovation of my country's polymer disciplines, improve the level of cross-disciplinary and cutting-edge research in polymer-related disciplines, meet major national needs, and overcome core key technical problems, and promote the transformation of scientific research results.

Professor Yao Yan from the University of Houston paid an academic visit
On the afternoon of August 20, Professor Yao Yan from the University of Houston, USA, was invited by Professor Huang Hui from the School of Materials Science and Technology to visit our school for an academic visit, and gave an academic report entitled "Application of Organic Electrodes in Lithium Batteries" at Xueyuan 2-302. Combined with his own research experience, he briefly described the urgency of current energy sources and the research progress of lithium batteries. Huang Hui's research group, Liu Xiangfeng's research group members and Professor Yao had a lively discussion.
Yao Yan graduated from Fudan University, and then obtained his Ph.D. in Yang Yang's research group at UCLA. After two years of working in Polyera Corp., he entered Stanford to follow Professor Cui Yi to carry out research on electrochemical storage. Joined the University of Houston in 2012 to conduct independent research. His current research interests are the design of organic electrode materials and their applications in electromagnetism.
